So we got this amazing assigment.
After sitting few crucial hours in a dark PC room, we were dragged to a studio upstairs where the most glamorous pictures were made of off extremely tired, coffee deprived and worn-out students, us.
Afterwards when we received our oh so flattering portraits, we were assigned to use the mighty magic of Photoshop upon them!

It was a queerly disturbing experience to modify one's own visage into two "extremes". I feel I didn't reach the maximum of each scale, but feel satisfied with the results at hand. The first assignment, Beauty, was a bit of a laugh and I had no idea how to go about it... And since I've been reading a novel by H.P.Lovecraft lately, the second assignments result shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Oh the Cheezy Cheddarness!

Textures

So yes, we were asked to collect some texture pictures,our works, old photos, and whatnots and Magically Transform them into digital data. Here are some textures to begin with, just as a proof of " hey! I've been doing something, alright?" I'm rather interested how I could use some of these textures for a photo manipulation, perhaps mimicking it somehow. Time will tell, meanwhile on with the crusade to find required items! Yarr!

Hell Yeah!

First things first.

    We had to choose some works to show...show off? And hopefully these will be the basis for our work to come in the course itself.

My personal goal would be to learn some proper way of coloring, even whit Gimp, so I could get rid of my aeon old style of pen and paper -> ink-> leave it black and white until enough cash for markers.

It was a rather cold morning, waking up at 06.45 just to realize I'm up 6 hours too early. Amazing.
